Martha (Kendrick) is kidnapped by a gang of thugs. She is shown in many sequences sitting on an office chair with her hands duct-taped to the armrests, feet unbound, and gagged with a wide strip. The gag is wide as in ear-to-ear, but the tape strip itself is actually narrower than normal duct tape; it is also very loosely applied, allowing her to laugh through it when the bumbling crooks argue in front of her.
