[REVIEW] Li Jun Li – The Following
One of the cult members meets an Asian woman named Meghan at a convenience store and later abducts her. Toward the end of the episode he reveals her to his cult partners. She is tied to a chair and gagged with a wide strip of duct tape. They pick her up to carry downstairs. she sits with her back against a post, tightly laced against it with lots of rope, and still gagged with duct tape. She spends most of the episode there, as the cult members argue about her fate. One of them is assigned to [censored] her, but doesn’t have the heart to do it. Instead, he cuts her loose and orders her to run. Li gets out of the house, but doesn’t manage to escape. She gets cornered, [censored] and then carried back down to the chair and retied as she [censored]. FBI agent actually gets into the basement and finds her, but is distracted and leaves before he actually unties her. He promptly gets himself captured, setting up a scene which is supposed to be suspenseful where the bad guys order Li’s death – again. After more inane conversation, Li is finally rescued when more cops find the house and raid the place.
