[REVIEW] Ana de la Reguera – Cop Out

Nov 12, 2023 | Movies: US/UK/Aus | 0 comments

The car stopped and the protagonists check the trunk since its a “hot” car. They heard banging coming from the trunk. As soon as they opened it, with guns pointing, Gabriela (Ana de la Reguera) emerges from the trunk, hands bound in front with duct tape, cleave gagged with a grey bandanna trying to fight with them. They then tell her that they’re police and everything’s gonna be fine.

Later Gabriela is caught by the bad guy and was placed in the car, in a confrontation with the leader, she spits on his face. She is then taped to a chair in an abandoned house. Her hands are taped to the armrests and her feet taped together (loosely). She cannot stop running her mouth insulting the bad guy. She is then gagged on-screen – cutting off her insult – with a long strip of duct tape wrapped around her mouth once. She nevertheless continues the insult from behind the gag.

Later the bad guy releases her from the chair and hold her as human shield as he engages in a gun battle with the protagonists. She has her hand (implied) bound behind her back. However we never see the bond. She is untied off-screen
