[REVIEW] Karen Sours Albisua – The Bridge (US)
Maria (Karen Sours Albisua) was almost passing out at the edge of the road due to dehydration. She was in a truck illegally entering the US. She was eventually picked up by someone in a car.
Next, the scene shifts to a camera being setup pointing to Maria, who is staked out spread-eagled in the desert. Her hands and feet are taped to steel rebars driven to the ground. She is gagged with duct tape and struggling as hard as she can in the seering hot desert sun. She is broadcasted live to the public.
The captor is planning to left Maria in the desert to die unless a ransom is paid. The shots of her are mostly through the webcam. Eventually the protagonist managed to track her location and rescues her.
