The backstory of this scene is Mary Murdock (Laura Breckenridge) running over something, which she thought was a cat. Then to her horrored surprise it was actually a man, who was impaled to the front of her jeep. She then buries the man who she thought was dead. It turns out the man wasn’t dead yet.

The scene begins in the middle of the night with Mary in a house, paranoid of the deadman chasing her. Before you know it, the deadman was there and knocks her down. He then bites a chunck out of her neck, prompting an excruciating scream from her. Her neck is bloody. She then passed out.

Waking up, Mary found herself tied to the front of her jeep. She is bound sideways horizontally on the bumper of her jeep. She’s secured with tubes, chains and cables of christmas lights. She is also gagged with a piece of duct tape. Before she realizes what’s goingg on, the jeep starts and starts to drive away. The deadman drives the jeep at high speed. She mmphhs in horror.

He then stops at a gas station to fill up the gas. Mary mmphhs as best as she can to get the attention of the gas station attendant. However, too bad for him he was murdered by the deadman. The deadman then starts driving at high speed again, and this time he goes to the makeshift grave that she made for him, stopping just before hitting pole. The deadman then goes down and tighten the chain securing her to the bumper of the jeep. She can only cries in her gag, helpless to prevent anything.

The deadman then drives into his garage, and before he goes into the house, he plugs in the christmas light, lighting Mary in the front of the jeep. The deadman was greeted by his worried wife. The wife hasn’t realized what’s on the front of the jeep yet. They then went upstairs. She then tries her best struggling to free herself and mmphhing.

The son walks into the garage to get his toygun, and stumble upon Mary mmphhing in front the jeep. He then screams for his mom. The mom, who is the deadman’s wife then walks in and is horrified at what she sees. She immediately peel the tape of Mary’s mouth. Mary begs her to untie her as she complies. However, the deadman appears out of knowhere and stabbed his wife with a hedge trimmer, killing her.

They then go for a ride again, this time Mary is ungagged and screams her lungs out. As they make a stop, the deadman starts to dig a shallow grave. He then dismantle the bumper of the car, and drags her to the grave, still bound to the bumper. As the deadman makes his speech about what she had done and what will happen to her, she tries her best to dislodge the plug of the christmas light. She succeeded and stabs the plug to the deadman eye. She then manages to free herself and drop a huge rock on his face.
