[REVIEW] Michelle Monaghan – Mission: Impossible III
The scene begins with Julie (Michelle Monaghan) already captured and handcuffed to a chair. She is also gagged with a long piece of duct tape. Across from her is the protagonist (Ethan). The antagonist then tell the protagonist that he needs to know the location of a certain items and is counting to 10 before he shoot julia. He starts counting while the protagonist tries to talk to him. Plenty of close-up shots of Julia’s tape-gagged face. Halfway through counting, at six, the antagonist shot Julia in her thigh, as he’s telling the protagonist that he’s serious. Eventually he counted to 10 and shot her. However, it turns out the lady wasn’t even Julia, its a different girl wearing the ol’ Mission Impossible fake face.
Later, working on intel, the protagonist goes into a building where the antagonist is, and jump him. Throughout that, he sees the real Julia in a room, held the same way. Her hands are cuffed apart to the chair base and her feet cuffed apart and connected with a chain around the base of the chair. She is also gagged with a long piece of duct tape. However in this instance, she’s wearing a tank top.
The protagonist then fight the antagonist while Julia able to only watch helplessly. At one point, the antagonist rips the tape off her mouth. Eventually the protagonist finish off the antagonist and frees Julia.
