In the first scene, cops respond to a call and start searching a house, only to find an unconscious Sophie (Melanie Scrofano) wearing just a shirt, and lying on a staircase. Her hands are duct taped in front, feet unbound, and she is gagged with a wide tape strip. Andy McNally (Missy Peregrym) carefully peels the tape off of her mouth (which was very sticky and well-applied) and summons help.

Later, Andy is investigating the serial rapist by conducting an illegal search of his storage locker at a storage facility. She finds his rape kit including rope, duct tape and several photographs of his victims duct taped and gagged. As she returns to find more things connecting the serial rapist, she gets rammed into the wall and is knocked out.

When she wakes up, Andy finds herself bound and gagged with lots of duct tape; hands behind her back, a hefty amount wrapped around her feet, and gagged with a wide tape strip (nice and sticky again). The rapist plans on killing her and does not want her to see him, so he orders her to close her eyes. When she vehemently refuses, he blindfolds her onscreen with another strip of duct tape.

We are treated to some great views of Andy flaring nostrils from breathing heavily before her detective partner arrives and fights with the criminal. He overpowers him, reaches down to Andy’s belt to take her handcuffs, and cuffs him. He finally frees Andy from her restraints. While the two slugs it out, we see a brief scene of Andy struggling with her bonds.
