Beauty queen Cassandra (Palmer), still wearing her blue pageant gown, is kidnapped at gunpoint along with her boyfriend. She is next shown in the back seat of a car, hands implied to be bound behind her back, but bonds never visible. She is also gagged with a wide strip of duct tape and, in a unique touch, blindfolded with her white pageant sash; this unfortunately stays on for the entire scene, giving us no views of her eyes.

Lots of mmpphhing from her nonetheless, as her boyfriend is forced by their captor to drive the car to a garage. A few minutes later, both he and Cassandra are sitting next to each other on the floor; his hands are bound as well but he is not gagged, and her feet are unbound. After a few more minutes a large envelope is placed over each of their heads, with more duct tape used to secure them. A cop finally discovers and frees the almost-suffocating couple.
