[REVIEW] Alison Thornton – Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency
The episode opens with kidnapped brunette Lydia (Alison), who has a welding helmet on her head, being dragged into the lair of a cult which has a brain-swapping machine. She is roughly strapped to the machine, wrists spread, and the helmet is removed, revealing her to be gagged with a very large strip of duct tape. Constant squealing and mmpphhing as her brain is then swapped with that of a dog (corgi), just before other cult members storm the lab. This forces the chief bad guy to flee with Lydia’s human form which now holds the brain of the corgi, but not before some muffled, dog-like whimpering from Lydia.
