[REVIEW] Éléonore Lamothe – Burden of Evil
Karen Pitfield (Éléonore Lamothe) is sitting in an apartment on a foldable chair/bed. There is a guy in the background holding a rose. He then comes to her and sweet talking her but she ignores him. Then he starts to threaten her. As the camera pans out, it appears that one of her foot is chained to the floor.
Later, the guy is making a phone call while Karen is standing up, in the same apartment, wearing the same cloth, but this time, her hands are ziptied behind her back and she is also gagged with a strip of duct tape. After he concludes the call, he goes to rip the tape off her mouth. The same thing happens again right after, but this time she is sitting down. He ungags her after the phone call and cuts off the zipties freeing her hands. She just sits there quietly.
The same thing repeats itself for the third time. But after the third time, the police came to the door and they are in a stand-off. He puts a gun to her head. After several minutes of talking he pushes her away and gives up.
