Caroline Hope (Amelia Bullmore) returns to her office and is promptly handgagged by the villain of the piece, who then applies a broad strip of duct tape as a more permanent silencer. Caroline is then placed roughly on a wooden chair, and ropes are tightly tied across her chest and upper arms. He also binds her ankles, but the wrists are left untied because he plans to force her to hold a dagger to make it seem as if she has stabbed herself. The damsel has wonderful eye expressions and does much struggling and mmpphhing throughout the scene. She is saved eventually.
