Jody Marken (Brittany Murphy) came to the slasher house while he’s moving a large trunk. She asked if he needed help and he said yes, and she helps him moving it to the basement. As soon as they reach the door to the basement, he just pushed the trunk down and she heard something moving inside the trunk, which prompt her to ask him, which he replied with a joke. She proceeds to open the trunk and is shocked at what she sees. Right then she was knocked out by a punch to the face.

She wakes up strapped by the wrists and ankles to a reclined orthodontic-like chair. The killer menaced and tortured her with a knife until the door bell rang and interrupts the torment, Jody screams for help, but gets a tight handgag to keep her quiet. As he answers the door, we see her gagged with a wide strip of duct tape applied very well. She struggles and mmphh until eventually she’s rescued by the protagonist at the door.
