[REVIEW] Marte Germaine Christensen – Snarveien
Lina (Marte Germaine Christensen) is in an old couple house having coffee, taking refuge in the middle of the night. Her boyfriend is out getting something from the car. Suddenly a creepy guy walks into the house. Lina doesn’t feel so good about it and excuse herself. As soon as she tries to leave, the man grab her and cover her mouth and nose with a cloth drenched in (assuming) chloroform.
The scene is being captured by a CCTV in which the footage is being played on a monitor in a room. At the basement of house, Lina is held, tied to a chair. She wakes up finding her wrists taped to the chair armrests and she is gagged with a wide and sticky piece of duct tape. At the corner of the basement is her boyfriend, in a mask tied spreadeagle with chains, and he appears as he’s been tortured, due to blood on his body. She mmphhs in fear and also trying to call out for him.
Lina struggles to get free to no avail. Her struggle and muffles are being broadcasted to the monitor in the room above. The man in the room then plays a screeching scream from a speaker in the basement, stratling Lina. Suddenly, a lady walks into the basement and ungags Lina, but as soon as the tape is off, she handgags Lina telling her to be quiet. She then frees Lina who immediately go to attend to her boyfriend.
