[REVIEW] MyAnna Buring – Crossing Lines
During a bank robbery which is being staged to cover up the crooks actual goal (tunneling into the sewers), Anika (MyAnna Buring) and one of the male hostages are sent out the front doors to keep the cops busy. Anika has a bomb strapped to her chest, and is gagged with duct tape over her mouth. Most of the scene is shot in close-up, but it does appear that her hands are tied behind her in the one glimpse that we get of her coming out of the bank. The male hostage is forced to wear a full-head “wolf” mask to make him look like one of the crooks, and it covers the tape gag over his mouth. He has an empty gun taped into his hand to make him look dangerous.
The ruse doesn’t fool the cops, and one of them walks right up to the duo, takes the mask off of the male hostage, and then disarms the bomb. He does not bother to remove the gag from either hostage until after the bomb has been disarmed.
