As Kate Nooman (Nora-Jane Noone) stepped into the lift, the killer reveals himself, and hold her at gunpoint. Next, she is shown tied to a chair, but her attire is a red medieval/play dress instead. She is cleave gagged with a thick rolled-up grey cloth. The killer is babbling on about something while preparing a pipelike device and then he ungags her, having the cloth hanging on her neck. Next he made her breathe into the makeshift pipe that he prepared earlier.

Next, the killer is talking on the phone with the protagonist, and Kate just woken up of the passing out from the pipe presumably, he lets her talk on the phone for a bit, she tried to warn him not to come, because its a trap.

In the next scene, she is woken again, and the sound of the killer talking in the background. She struggle against her bonds to no avail. The killer then said the she will determine who gets killed next, and she said she refused to choose but the killer said he already knew who she would choose and as she protests he stuffs a large white cloth in her mouth; onscreen in a great close-up.

The rescuer then arrives at the house and found her tied to the chair the same way, but now she’s gagged with an OTM gag, with packing from earlier underneath. She mmpphhs and moans and the rescuer pulls down the OTM and she spits out the packing. However, he is then stabbed by the killer. In the next scene she is already untied, presumably by the killer himself.
