Just before the final act, Detective Erin Lindsay (Sophia Bush) is reviewing mugshots with a witness (Elizabeth Kline) when she’s stunned with a gun butt to the head and then immediately chloroformed by the bad guys. Right after the break, she awakens on a bed, cleave-gagged with a black cloth. Her hands are tied behind her, and her ankles are tied together, with both ropes anchored to opposite ends of the bed. One of the villains enters the bedroom and holds a knife to her throat with the intention of assaulting her, but her partners quickly arrive and shoot him dead.
