[REVIEW] Aya Matsuura – Yo-Yo Girl Cop
This is a Japanese version of the La Femme Nikita series where Saki Asamiya (Aya Matsuura), a rogue girl, is recruited by an under-the-radar law enforcement agency to “clean dirt”. Throughout the film, she’s captured twice, the first one she’s put in a straitjacket and the second time she’s chained in a cage with her hands spreadout. However, the scene highlighted here is the third time she’s captured.
Saki in on the rooftop confronting a bad guy, when a bunch of his henchmen appears and before she could react, she was knocked out by a kick. She awakens in a warehouse tied to a wooden stand. Her hands are ziptied over her head to the stand. She is gagged with a strip of duct tape. Her feet however is free. She’s being broadcasted live via a camera and a laptop. Also, there’s a bomb strapped to her torso.
She struggles for a bit until she finally able to snap the zipties connecting both her wrists together. She then rips of the tape on her mouth and make a run for it before the bomb goes off.
