Kono Kalakaua (Park Park) and Malia (Aylesworth) are shown via split screen on a laptop screen, held at separate locations, and each gagged with a strip of duct tape. There are several views of the laptop screen, with live video being streamed of the damsels, who are seen only from the neck up at this point. Daniel is forced to choose which damsel he is going to save.

Scene shifts to a yacht with Kono sitting on the edge, hands duct taped in front and her ankles taped and gagged with a wide strip of tape. Couple of close-ups of her gagged face. She is then dumped flipped backwards the sea after the bad guy calls the henchman and receives his instructions.

Elsewhere, Malia is discovered at her home, unbound but still gagged; the tape is peeled off her mouth onscreen. She is barely conscious due to having been stabbed. The scene continues underwater as we see Kono struggling for her life, still bound and gagged. She quickly loses consciousness as she sinks, but is immediately pulled out of the water and pushed into a dinghy, where she is untied.
