In a suspenseful scene set in a remote, desolate shack during the nighttime, the captivating Mallika Adenwalla (played by Neha Dhupia) reluctantly agrees to participate in a staged situation, where she pretends to be kidnapped, and she will be tied up by an older man. The man engages in rambling conversation as they simulate a kidnapping scenario. He seats Mallika on a chair and proceeds to bind her hands behind her back with white rope, also securing her feet together. Despite her hesitant cooperation, her discomfort is evident. The next step involves gagging her with a white cloth shoved in her mouth, followed by the application of a wide strip of white tape over her mouth, creating an effective restraint.

As the man departs, he delivers a staged blow to her face to simulate an assault before leaving her alone. In the following moments, rain begins to leak through the shack’s roof. Mallika, now left to her own devices, responds with frantic mmpphhing (muffled sounds) and vigorous struggling. Her efforts lead her to tip the chair over in the midst of the commotion, concluding the scene on an intense note.

The narrative takes a somber turn the next morning when police arrive at the shack, which is now surrounded. Tragically, it is revealed that Mallika’s situation took a tragic turn during the stormy night. The authorities find her lifeless body on the floor, still bound and gagged as she had been during the staged scenario. The outcome portrays a grim conclusion to this suspenseful sequence
